As BT expands its Openreach national broadband network, it’s also expanding its workforce across Shropshire, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. In fact, according to the Shropshire Star, more than 3,000 trainer engineers are being recruited with a view to mainly deliver the company’s ‘Fibre First’ programme; bringing faster, more reliable and future-proof Fibre to the Premises (FTTP).
